Khalil Sima’an is a Palestinian academic and poet living in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. His recent poetry is nominated for Best of The Net 2025, and appeared (or will appear) in various poetry journals including Diode, Muzzle, ANMLY, Solstice, Clarion, Rising Phoenix and Fikra, and his earlier poetry appeared in Arabic language literary magazine Al-Jadeed and daily Al-Ittihad. Khalil works as professor of computational linguistics at University of Amsterdam.
