Kayla Cayasso is an Afro-Latina writer and poet from North Florida. Her work has been nominated for a Pushcart Prize and has appeared in Jabberwock Review, The Georgia Review, storySouth, and elsewhere. Kayla is an alumna of Florida A&M University and received her MFA from the University of Central Florida. Currently, she is completing her PhD in Creative Writing at the University of Missouri.
