J Youngwood (b. 1993 San Diego, CA) lives and works in Minneapolis, Minnesota where they are pursuing their MFA at the University of Minnesota. Through painting and drawing, Youngwood’s work explores abstracting various two-dimensional art histories, centering genderlessness, astroecology, and escapism through seeing.
